We, too, love cookies. However, Klipspringer only uses a single cookie, connect.sid, which is used exclusively to maintain an active session and keep users logged in.

Such cookies are classified as strictly necessary cookies within the meaning of Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, and therefore do not require the display of a consent banner.
Data controller
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you, as the event organiser, act as the Data Controller, determining the means and purposes of processing personal data. Klipspringer acts as your Data Processor, processing personal data solely on your behalf and in accordance with your documented instructions.
User Data
Klipspringer processes only the personal data that are necessary for the operation of your event. You may enable or disable the collection of the following optional user attributes:
- Family name (surname)
 - Date of birth
 - Postal address
 - Country of residence
 - Questions (e.g. "What are you allergic to?" or "Do you have any disability accommodations?")
 - Identity verification details
 
At a minimum, Klipspringer stores the first name and e-mail address of your user to facilitate account creation and event communication. You retain full control of the data.
